Private Client Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to support our Private Client Director/Head of Department  and her Team at our modern offices in the heart of West Bromwich.  The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a Private Client role.

 

Duties to include:

  •  
  • Assisting the Director/Head of Department and her Team with a range of Private Client matters Including Wills, Trusts, Probate and Estate administration.
  •  
  • Supporting Fee Earners with the progression of Client files from instruction through to completion.
  •  
  • Drafting Legal documentation and correspondence.
  •  
  • Liaising with Clients, Beneficiaries, and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner.
  •  
  • Preparing applications and documentation relating to Probate and Estate matters.
  •  
  • Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  •  
  • Assisting with administrative and case management tasks across the department.

 

 

The successful applicant will have:-

 

 2 Years previous experience within a Private Client team.

 

 Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

 

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

 The ability to manage priorities effectively and work within a busy team environment.

 

 Experience using case management systems would be advantageous.

Assistant Office Manager

We are seeking an experienced part time Assistant Manager to support our Office Manager at our modern offices in the heart of West Bromwich.  The successful candidate will possess excellent administration and IT skills and have experience In HR, Health and Safety and Compliance.   Experiencing working in a Solicitors office would be preferable.

 

Duties to include:-

 

  •  
  • All Health and Safety matters
  •  
  • Dealing with Compliance/Lexcel Accreditation
  •  
  • Contacting the Managing Agents for the Building to report repairs
  •  
  • Dealing with Recruitment Agencies, advertising all jobs, carrying out inductions.
  •  
  • Responsible for arranging Employers Liability and Cyber Insurance
  •  
  • Responsible for all Facilities
  •  
  • Monitoring and recording Holiday requests
  •  
  • Organising Office Social Events
  •  
  • Sourcing and Ordering lunches for department meetings
  •  
  • Organising and distributing Post rota
  •  
  • Assisting Office Manager with HR matters  
  •  
  • Organising Office removals/ensuring offices are kept clean and tidy
