Wills, Probate and Trusts

Have we got the Will you are looking for?

The law firm now known as Clark Brookes Turner Cary or CBTC Rawstorne has merged various times over recent years. As a result of our mergers we hold in our Will Storage facility, many of the Wills made by Ernest Brown and Co Solicitors, Clark Brookes, Turner Cary Partnership, CBTC Rawstorne and Rawstorne Heran. If you are not sure which firm holds the Will that you are looking for, whether it is for you, a friend or relative, we can assist in locating missing Wills.

Is your Will up to date?

Making sure that your Will is up to date is a fairly straightforward process and we find that clients benefit from peace of mind knowing that their wishes have been fully and properly documented. Contact Clark Brookes Turner Cary Solicitors to make a new Will or update an existing one.

Who will control your ?

When people have insufficient mental capacity to handle their own financial affairs and health decisions, they can appoint another person on their behalf. The process of appointment and the circumstances surrounding the appointment are dealt with in a Lasting Power of Attorney. At Clark Brookes Turner Cary Solicitors we draft Lasting Powers of Attorney to protect you and your assets. Lasting Powers of Attorney can be drafted to deal with financial matters and health and welfare issues. We also deal with the Court of Protection in cases where it is not appropriate to make a Lasting Power of Attorney.

Tax and Trusts

Our private client solicitors, led by Sara Banks, advise clients on inheritance tax issues and can discuss setting up and administering Trusts.

We also deal with Probate

Our Probate solicitors in West Bromwich and Stratford-Upon-Avon have many years of experience in administering estates and distributing the proceeds. We act in cases where there is a Will, where there is no Will (intestacy) and where there are disputes about who is entitled to benefit from a deceased’s estate.

Whether you need to draw up a new Will, find a missing Will, grant a Lasting Power of Attorney or deal with Probate, contact Clark Brookes Turner Cary Solicitors for an initial consultation. We provide an out-of-hours service and home visits if you need them.
